1. Charles GAUBERT, Lord of Chassac (died 07.05.1666) who had two wives -

1st. marriage - to Marguerite Tisseuil by whom he had: Marguerite born 1649, and Francoise who married Charles Boireau on 29.01.1675, and a son Louis GAUBERT

(NB . the French genealogical company of Grave - Bourg is satisfied that this is Cornet Louis GAUBERT partly due to the fact (?) that this son disappears without trace from French records. I think that this assertion was both unproven and dishonest)

2nd marriage - to Jeanne Philippier by whom he had: Suzanne born in 1665, Suzanne born in 1667 who married Rene Le Compte, Signeur of Beauvais in 1685.


2. Jacques GAUBERT, Lord of Mosnac, who married Elizabeth de Ligoure on 08.08.1618 and by whom he had two sons Charles GAUBERT (above), and Jean GAUBERT, Lord of Mosnac, who married Marie Joulard on 08.10.1664.


3. Guillaume GAUBERT, Lord of Mosnac, son of Francois GAUBERT Lord Du Poitier and Jeanne De Coustin, who married Marie Brun on 05.06.1585

4. Francois GAUBERT, Lord of Mosnac born about 1515 who had two wives

1st. Marthe Courdaud on 30.01.1547 by whom he had: Charles GAUBERT, Lord Du Poitier who married Marguerite Du Rousseau in 1581

2nd Jeanne Coustin on 26.01.1558 by whom he had: Guillaume GAUBERT (above) and Louise GAUBERT who married Francois De Boschaud of Brie in 1581; and Marquise GAUBERT who married Jean Gerald, Lord of La Mourandie.
