I've also included this record from 'Boyd's Inhabitants of London' of a Richard 'Garbut' of St Brides, Fleet Street, London (just off the south side of Fleet Street) born 1653 who, on Jan 22nd 1697 or 1st Feb 1697 (Ancestry.co.uk), married (possibly his second wife) Elizabeth Barnes, born 1649, a widow also of St Brides.
